This was from the CLHS Website Homepage and guess what ?

THE CLHS WEBSITE HAS A BIG TYPO !!

seriously ... who hasn't heard of this thing called the SPELLING CHECKER ?!
how can the word SOCCER BALL even turn to SOCKER BALL ??!

The letter C is THAT FAAAAAR away from the letter K on the keyboard,
so i guess if you have already pressed the C key once.... i bet that you'll press it again if you
KNOW HOW TO SPELL SOCCER ! WITH TWO C's !!
and I really doubt that this is a typo =]

Hey don't get me wrong or anything, I'm just here to blog, NOT to offend anybody, haha
soo i guess we've learned something from this big blunder,
make sure you check whatever needs checking before you post it up publicly.

The Reason Why The Penang Beach Carnival Was Postponed

THE PENANG BEACH CARNIVAL 2010
has been postponed to the
18th of December 2010 !!

PENGUMUMAN TARIKH BARU BAGI PROGRAM “PERTANDINGAN MENEMBAK PIALA TYT 2010”, “PENANG BEACH CARNIVAL 2010” DAN “PENANG LINE DANCE CARNIVAL”

PULAU PINANG, 26 November – Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa tarikh baru bagi tiga program anjuran MMK Belia & Sukan, Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga & Komuniti Pulau Pinang Bersama Majlis Sukan Negeri Pulau Pinang yang telah ditunda telah diputuskan untuk makluman orang ramai.

Program Pertandingan Menembak Piala TYT 2010 yang bakal berlangsung pada hari Sabtu 27 Nov 2010 dari jam 8.30 pagi sehingga jam 1.30 tengahari di Kelab Menembak Pulau Pinang, Jalan Air Terjun telah ditunda dari hari Sabtu, 27 Nov, ke hari Khamis, 16 Dis.

Program “Penang Beach Carnival 2010” yang bakal berlangsung pada hari Ahad, 28 Nov 2010 dari jam 7 pagi sehingga jam 11.00 malam di persisiran pantai Golden Sands Resort, Batu Ferringi serta program “Penang Line Dance Carnival” yang bakal berlangsung dari jam 6 petang hingga 11 malam di Autocity Juru pada hari Ahad, 28 Nov telah ditunda ke hari Sabtu, 18 Dis.

Selain tundaan tarikh, ketiga-tiga program tersebut akan berlangsung mengikut jadual masa dan lokasi yang telah ditetapkan.

Program-program tersebut telah ditunda untuk menghormati dan mengingati mendiang bekas Ketua Menteri Pulau Pinang, Yang Amat Berbahagia Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu yang telah meninggal dunia di rumahnya pada hari Khamis [24 Nov 2010] kata EXCO Belia & Sukan, Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Komuniti Yang Berhormat Puan Lydia Ong Kok Fooi.

“Segala kesulitan yang timbul amat dikesali dan kami berharap agar orang ramai akan tetap memberikan sokongan padu dengan menghadiri program-program komuniti yang ditunda tersebut di ketetapan tarikh yang baru,” katanya.

The Global Music Phenomenon That Is GLEE

THE GLEE PHENOMENON ...
a unique music phenomenon that
made its way into our lives through a mere TV show
that aired on STAR WORLD then FOX (in M'sia) in mid-2010.

Glee bridges the gap between drama, music and comedy,
making it a part musical, part drama and part comedy show loved by almost everyone.
(almost...haha)

This particular TV Show not only received thousands, but millions of viewers
( 13 million to be exact)
during its first week of premier and that was what started
the global GLEE phenomenon - thanks to its viewers.

Glee has also included a few clebrities in their episodes such as

Britney Spears,
who had her songs toxic, stronger and a few more others featured in
one of the eopisodes in season 2.

Charice
who had her part in GLEE singing telephone and listen.

ohoh and Gwyneth Paltrow.
With her part in GLEE for singing Umbrella and one other song which i forgot...

So far...
IF im not mistaken... Glee has released 5/6 albums soo far,
including an all-christmas-song album too ^^

GLEE aint no HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL,
its a new pop culture thats rising among us,
and I'm sure those who watched it once will definitely watch it again...and again
and again...and again ............ ( oh you get my point )

The Penang Beach Carnival

is back for the third consecutive year at the same venue!

This beach carnival has made its mark as a community event for people of all age group. Last year's event saw some 20,000 people participating and witnessing some 14 activities held from early morning till late night. It is also a tradition for the Governor to officially close the event at the end of the night.

This year, we have planned over 20 a......activities, both competitive and non-competitive, for the young and old, men and women of the community including our local and foreign visitors. We hope to get more people involved and it would great fun for our local and foreign visitors also as there are many activities where participants can register to participate on the spot such as the Beach Telematch, Beach Futsal, Fishing Competition, Sandcastle Competition and much more.

The Penang Beach Carnival is not just a community event held for the community but one held by the community for the people and our visitors. We look forward to seeing you, your family and friends there!
